One machine,
from start to finish.
TOYO SUISAN KIKAI handles everything from planning to after-sales support for fish processing machinery in-house. Our small team builds machines for the oceans of the world.
From planning to support, all in-house
We start from a customer's question, "Can a machine do this?", and stay responsible until the machine is running in production. Because every stage is connected inside the company, you can see exactly where your work lives in the machine.

Customers around the world
From major Japanese fishery companies to processors in North America, Northern Europe, Asia and Oceania. From our head office in Sakai and our office in Seattle, we deliver machines used on the oceans of the world.

Mechanizing Japan's fishing industry
In 1963 we began making fish processing machines, the first in Japan. For more than 60 years since, we have worked with fishery companies to mechanize seafood processing in Japan.
- 1963First fish processing machines made in Japan
- 1971World's first Model 707 combined head cutter and filleter
- 1980World's first eel processor, the TK-78
- 1982Fully automatic processing machines for factory ships
We adopt new tools early
As a company of fewer than 30 people, we have always adopted good tools quickly. Every member works with modern equipment, and we can move from design to prototype to inspection in a short time.

What a team of under 30 makes possible
See the whole machine
You see the machine through to completion and operation, not just your own stage.
Your voice is heard
Suggestions about equipment and ways of working are considered right away.
